Of the three lasting things, which are faith, hope, and love, the greatest of them is love.
Knowledge, wisdom, speaking in tongues of men and of angels, the ability to prophecy, having "a faith that can move mountains," giving everything away to the poor, and being willing to be a burned up in the flames.
All of that gains me nothing, leaves me as a nothing, and does nothing if I have and do all of that but do not have love.
